5G Network Countries are the countries that currently have this service available. 5G networks are simply digital cellular networks.
It’s the latest development which has its service area covered by providers divided into small geographical areas known as cells.
Therefore, analog signals representing sounds and images are digitized in the telephone. This is further converted by an analog to digital converter and transmitted as a stream of bits.
So, all the 5G wireless devices in a cell communicate by radio waves. Usually with a local antenna array and low power automated transceiver in the cell. Usually done over frequency channels assigned by the transceiver from a river of frequencies reused in other cells.

5G can support over a million devices each square kilometer. On the other hand, 4G supports just 100, 000 devices each square kilometer.
Adding to the uniqueness, the new 5G wireless devices also have 4G LTE capability. This is because the new networks use 4G for initially establishing the connection with the cell, including locations where 5g access is not available.

So many different countries strive hard to make the 5g network available for their citizens. The top three countries that lead the world in building and deploying 5g tech are South Korea, China, and the US.
There are also other countries that make significant steps in bringing the network. These are countries like Turkey, Sweden, and Estonia. Let’s see the breakdown of how these countries strive to make it work.
5G Network in South Korea
South Korea is currently leading other countries when it comes to 5g deployment. As of January 2020, the country has launched the network in 85 cities. Government officials also estimate that 90% of Korea’s mobile users will be using the network by 2026.
The countries’ success seems to come from the collaboration of three different carriers. These carriers have worked on 5G deployment (LG Uplus, KT Corp, and SK Telecom).
5G Network in China
China comes on as the second country that has 5g in most cities. As of January 2020, the network is already in 57 cities. It was launched by the three major wireless carriers in China. They are China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. Like one would expect, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai are the cities with the best network coverage.
5G Network in the United States
The FCC spectrum frontiers order laid the groundwork for the use of 5G tech in the US. As we already know, the next generation of tech provides a greater number of spectrum for wireless communication.
It will also come with smaller sizes of wireless cells, and of course more modulation schemes. 5G network provides at least one gigabytes each second for connection speeds. It has a shorter delay than that of the 4g as well as millimeter-wave bands for supporting applications requiring large capacity.
Interestingly, the US carriers AT&T Inc. (T), Verizon Communications, Sprint Corp, and T-mobile.US are actively developing, testing, and deploying 5g tech. As of January 2020, 5g has been deployed in 50 cities in the US.
Sprint Corp has rolled out mobile 5g in Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Kansas City, Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, and New York City. AT&T has made its mobile 5g+ network live for consumers in many parts of 35 cities and 190 markets.
5G Network In India
There are 5g phones currently available in India. That aside, it will take time to build the 5g networks. The tech operators need to test the tech to acquire the necessary radio spectrum from India’s government in an auction. Then go-ahead to invest in and build out the network infrastructure before they’re ready to provide services.
The 5g networks are also expected to be released in India by late 2020 or early 2021. At the moment, it is highly unlikely that this could happen before the middle of 2021. According to a network equipment vendor based in Sweden, the 5g service is likely to be available in India only from 2022.
The 5G network speed is mind-blowing. It will range from 50Mbit/s to over a giggabit/s. Thus, the fastest 5g is mmWave. As of July 2020, the mmWave had a top speed of 1.8 G on AT&T’s 5GN. The Sub 6 GHz 5g is by far the most common.
Usually, it will deliver between 100 and 400 Mbit/s. Additionally, it will have much farther reach than mmWave, most especially outdoors. The low band spectrum provides the highest range.
Thereby a greater coverage area for a given website even though it’s slower than the others. 5g New radio speed in sub 6 GHz bands can be a bit higher. This is still higher than the 4g with a similar amount of spectrum and antennas.
