Go to the Facebook homepage as soon as you visit Facebook.com on your computer or Smartphone. Enter your email address and your password in the spaces provided at the top of the right-hand corner of the page. Then, log in to confirm your presence and now view your feeds.
Go to the column on the right-hand side of the screen to see the list of other users who’ve poked you. You’ll see the pokes box appear under your upcoming events. Then find more of your friend’s tools and sponsored messages.
Go back to each poke by clicking at the poke backlink. When you do that, a confirmation window appears. Now click on the Poke box to make sure you confirm your action.
Just click on the username in the pokes box so that you can visit the profile page of the person who poked you. Another option to poke them will appear at the top of the right-hand corner of the page. You can use this step as an alternative to step number 3 above.
Locate and click on the small cross close to an entry in the pokes box to clear the notification. As soon as you’ve done this, the pokes will not appear in your news feed again and the user can now be free to poke you again.
